DESCRIPTION:
Clocks- 2 (Two) Connecticut mahogany 8 day time and strike mantel clocks, Seth Thomas & Jerome, mid to late 19th century
CONDITION:
the Chauncey Jerome steeple clock is early, with conical finials, excellent label, painted metal dial, and veneered case in very nice condition with virtually no losses, but the bottom glass now is clear, Ht 20". The Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Omaha", a city clock, has a rear date code of 1885. Sadly, it is missing the top part of its gallery, its dial and pendulum, but retains its lyre plate movement, Ht 18". Both movements will need service.
